What Is an Endowment?
An endowment is a permanent financial foundation. Your gift is invested not spent and only the returns are used to fund programs. This means your contribution continues working long after you're gone.
The Fawakih Foundation's Endowment is housed in the Amana Fund, where principal is invested in Shari'ah-compliant instruments. Returns fund operations, instructors, grants, and expansion while the principal remains intact and grows.

Your gift joins the endowment principal and is invested in Shari'ah-compliant instruments via the Amana Fund.
It Grows
Returns are reinvested and compounded. Additional revenue from textbooks and programming adds to the principal.

About Fawakih Foundation
Fawakih Foundation is a 501.c3 tax-exempt non-profit institution. We are a group of dedicated professionals and volunteers committed to the growth and success of the Muslim community in America. We believe our growth and success will come through education. This education needs to be authentic and purposeful, aimed at providing the tools (Qur'anic Arabic) for individuals to access our original sources (the Quran and Hadith) and taught in a Western context. This allows the knowledge gained to be both relevant and transformative.
